Souad Osseiran is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Migration Research Center at Koç University (MiReKoc), Istanbul. She has focused on issues relating to Syrian forced displacement in Turkey including the migration journeys of Syrian refugees continuing to Europe in 2012-2013, Syrian refugee healthcare access and most recently the urban-migration nexus. She holds a PhD in anthropology from Goldsmiths College, University of London and an MSc in Social Anthropology from the University of Oxford.
