Kit’s currently a Senior Migration Health Specialist for the International Organization for Migration based in Pretoria, South Africa, covering the Southern African region. In this role, she supports IOM operations in 15 countries and various regional initiatives aimed at promoting the health of migrants, including migrant workers.

Kit has an extensive background in public and migration health, having worked for over 20 years in the Asia Pacific, South Asia, and Caribbean regions for IOM and international NGOs. She also served as an official at the Ministry of Health New South Wales, Australia, in the Department of Epidemiology and Evidence.

She holds a BA Communications – Social Inquiry from the University of Technology Sydney, Master of Public Health from the University of Sydney and is a graduate of the NSW Ministry of Health Public Health Officer Training Programme.
